“ECAMPUZ – European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology” International project of ERASMUS + Capacity Building of Higher Education program, co-funded by the European Union.

CAMP 2 training participants were divided into groups and assigned a challenge related to the fermentation processes of different fermented food products. Participants produced the assigned fermented products in the experimental kitchen and at the pilot plant, analyzing these products in the following days under the supervision and guidance of staff from the UEx. Thereafter, and up until the end of the CAMP training, each group worked on the experimental results obtained from the lab challenges under the supervision of the EU trainers (from both UEx and the University of Copenhagen). This entire process culminated in an oral presentation at the end of CAMP 2 training, where students showcased the complete process, results, and discussions in front of a panel that evaluated their performance and the competencies gained in the topics covered during this CAMP.
